happy happy 2014!

{1/365}

Every day I am completely in awe, humbled, and thankful that I get to be mama to these three. They are one of my very greatest joys.

The view from my bedroom window this afternoon. Sweet six and a half year old, trying to knit. Goodness, I love her.

Sleeping in (thank you, sweet husband!)
Restful, peaceful morning at home
Trying to be patient, waiting for my sweet Eliza to get here, but it is getting harder + harder!
Yucky migraine = afternoon nap
Dinner at Erik's parents
Lots and lots of sitting + talking- my favorite!
Lots and lots cousins playing together
Playing in the hot tub
First time the kids got to do sparklers! So much fun!
Fireworks (thank you so much, Mooma + Grandpa!)
Kids right to bed when we got home
Late night movie watching + snacks
A good day.

Hope you had a wonderful 4th of July too!

Love this fortune that Elliot got in a fortune cookie today. And the funny thing is, when I asked him what he thought the happy thing was, I thought he would say "baby Eliza" and he said, "I don't know...God is coming back down?"

Happy Due Date! 40 weeks today!

july 1

01. On a walk, hoping to get labor going. The sky was so pretty today!

02. At the park after my walk. A little #SheReadsTruth, day 7. James 4:13-15- remembering to trust God with today and tomorrow...just what I needed to hear as I not so patiently wait for labor to start...

03. Okay, seriously. When did this girl get so old? Riding a two-wheeler, missing teeth, bringing a chapter book everywhere she goes...time, please please please slow down...

04. His nesting is starting to kind of stress me out. No joke, tonight he climbed up a tree in our yard + started sawing off dead branches! Love him so much + appreciate his hard work, but the timing is kind of cracking me up!

over the weekend...

I meant to post this on Monday, or at the very least, Tuesday, but time has just slipped away from me this week!

Here are a few peeks of how we spent last weekend...

Admiring my little getting big baby belly
Coloring outside (yay for sunshine!)
Getting new Legos- he literally played with them the entire day
Afternoon naps for mama
Getting to catch up with a dear friend on the phone
Helping Daddy make pancakes for dinner
Knitting projects for the baby
Zucchini muffins
Practicing writing his name
Convicting sermon at church
Date night with my husband-Costco, Target, and Mexican food. It was perfect.

Such a lovely weekend.

(For more peeks, see my Ten on Ten from Saturday!)

P.S. Thank you so much for all the sweet comments on my last post. It is so special to be able to share my joy with all of you!

Ten on Ten :: March 2012

10:32am- The weather has been feeling so much like spring around here lately! I love it.

11:35am- It was a legwarmer kind of day.

12:41pm- Leftover spaghetti for lunch.

1:25pm- New Legos make the kids super happy!

2:27pm- An afternoon nap was just what this mama needed.

3:44pm- Wondered why I waited all day to have a cup of tea. It certainly hit the spot.

...Worked on catching up on emails + talked to a sweet friend on the phone. Forgot to take pictures...

6:26pm- Audrey helping Daddy make pancakes for dinner.

7:23pm- Elliot in the bath

8:24pm- Made muffins for Sunday morning breakfast

9:09pm- Looked at a favorite old book. Does anyone else have this gem from IKEA?
