ten on ten :: january 2013

...once a month on the tenth taking a photo an hour for ten consecutive hours

 finding life and beauty in the ordinary things of our day to day...

9:01am- I think I am really going to need this coffee today! I have never been a huge coffee drinker, but ever since I became a mama of three, it has become much more of a necessity!

10:16am- LEGOS, LEGOS, LEGOS!

11:44am- Learning to press into Him now more than ever.

12:50pm- We are all about UNO around here these days!

2:05pm- Naptime. I am seriously so spoiled. Eliza is the best baby sleeper we have ever had.

2:51pm- Catching up on some school reading with the big kids while the littlest one is napping.

3:53pm- Helping mama make our favorite snack.

4:59pm- A drawing of the cover of one of her favorite books.

5:51pm- Making this yummy soup for dinner tonight!

6:43pm- Finishing up our pretzals.

Ten on Ten :: March 2012

10:32am- The weather has been feeling so much like spring around here lately! I love it.

11:35am- It was a legwarmer kind of day.

12:41pm- Leftover spaghetti for lunch.

1:25pm- New Legos make the kids super happy!

2:27pm- An afternoon nap was just what this mama needed.

3:44pm- Wondered why I waited all day to have a cup of tea. It certainly hit the spot.

...Worked on catching up on emails + talked to a sweet friend on the phone. Forgot to take pictures...

6:26pm- Audrey helping Daddy make pancakes for dinner.

7:23pm- Elliot in the bath

8:24pm- Made muffins for Sunday morning breakfast

9:09pm- Looked at a favorite old book. Does anyone else have this gem from IKEA?

Ten on Ten :: January 2012

7:59am- Making lunches for school. Tuesdays are one of the two days a week my kids are out at school rather than at home. Peanut butter and honey for Audrey, peanut butter and strawberry jam for Elliot.

8:59am- Dropping these two lovely ladies off at the homeschool enrichment center for classes.

10:03am- Chai tea and phone in hand, ready to make some calls

10:54am- Writing down some thoughts

11:52am- Heading down the hill after picking Elliot up from preschool

1:01pm- My little mister going down the slide at the school playground.

...the three hours when I forgot to take pictures...

4:05pm- Heading home from the grocery store

5:19pm- Audrey's drawing of Mary Poppins. I am absolutely in love with it!

6:24pm- Elliot brushing his teeth

7:36pm- A great reminder on my fridge (from this blog) and my new favorite magnets from a dear Aussie friend.

10:13am- A good reminder on my bedroom window sill

11:10am- Daddy pancakes, complete with chocolate chips and sprinkles!

12:26pm- A good reminder on this month's calendar page

1:22pm- Working on her science notebook

2:12pm- Hard at work painting a history art project

3:13pm-Believe it or not, this picture was not posed! I caught them siting like this.

6:08pm- A little peek at our homeschool corner

7:14pm- Telling a bedtime story to the family

7:14pm- She gets a little bit silly + dramatic. I love it.

8:15pm- A little homeschool planning

10:02am- Breakfast at a favorite restaurant to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday

10:26am- The grandparents + great-grandparents. Love these guys so much!

11:05am- Her very first soccer game ever.

12:04pm- My handsome Mr. Elliot

1:09pm- Working on invitations for Audrey's upcoming birthday party. She designed them herself!

...a little bit of a break while I took Audrey to a friend's birthday party + forgot my camera...

6:05pm- Self-portrait on our way to a grown-ups only birthday party for this sweet friend.
