Audrey and Elliot love doing chores! Tonight they helped me make our salad for dinner. I need to let them help me in the kitchen more. I get so caught up in what needs to get done- the housework, the making of meals, just living life. I forget about the value of teaching them simple tasks like these. Tearing lettuce for a salad. It is such a little thing, but they are learning something. And better yet, their hearts are full because we are all doing something together.
